Repair Café @ Zero Waste Day
Drop in between 2pm and 4pm at this FREE community repair event and you are invited to bring broken items to our fixers - for FREE. Volunteer fixers will do their best to repair items or help you find a path to repair. Reduce waste, save $, and build community in Nevada County. (Part of the global Repair Café movement.) Following the Repair Café, join an inspiring community conversation beginning at 5pm on practical ways to reduce waste, rethink everyday habits, and support a more sustainable future. Zero Waste Day brings together leading voices in the zero waste movement to share ideas, real-world strategies, and local inspiration for making meaningful change at home, at work, and throughout our community.
